Today is day 1 of Digital Writing! This is an undergraduate course at DePaul, which my department recently developed and made part of the core curriculum for our Professional Writing Minor. This is a fun class to teach: we make videos, develop blogs, and students work together to create a “Multimedia Change Campaign.” Continue reading
For the first time, I’m teaching digital storytelling on DePaul’s accelerated summer schedule. The class meets twice a week for five weeks, which means there won’t be time to partner with community organizations and to train their staff to make digital stories, as in past iterations of the course.
