Fall 2016 Digital Storytelling Partnership Recap

In this 10-week graduate-level Digital Storytelling course, students from DePaul University’s MA in WRD and MA in New Media Studies worked to create digital stories and distribution plans with staff and stakeholders from three Chicago-area nonprofit organizations: Lincoln Park Community Center, St. Joseph Services, and The Learning Center.

Students in Prof. Dush’s graduate-level Digital Storytelling course gathered with the staff and stakeholders from their nonprofit partners on the last night of class.

Watch one of the stories created in the course, “I Will Rescue My Education,” created for The Learning Center. The story was highlighted in the organization’s successful 2016 #GivingTuesday campaign.
